For this semester, University Writing Center consultations will be online only. You will book appointments as normal. When your appointment date and time arrive, select your appointment from the schedule, then select "Start or Join Online Session" to access a browser window where you can share documents and collaborate with your consultant.

To make online sessions as smooth and productive as possible, voice and video chat are recommended.


Welcome to the University Writing Center schedule for our main location on the first floor of the Student Success Center. We are excited to work with you on your writing.


We are open 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Mon-Thurs, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Fridays, and 3 p.m.-8 p.m. Sundays.


We highly recommend that you make an appointment. Tutors will only be available for walk-ins if they do not already have an appointment. That is on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Check out our website for more details. Additionally, you can join the waitlist to be notified of any available appointments by clicking the clock symbol to the left of your desired day.

Late policy: If you do not show up within 10 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, your appointment may be cancelled and given to someone else. You may still be seen by a tutor if one is available, but a consultation is not guaranteed.
